Writer: Janae VieraJanae Viera

SeaDek flooring has revolutionized the boating industry with its unparalleled comfort, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a weekend boater, investing in SeaDek flooring enhances not only the look but also the overall boating experience. In this guide, we'll delve into the benefits of SeaDek flooring and provide you with essential tips on how to keep it in pristine condition. The Advantages of SeaDek Flooring

Comfort and Traction: SeaDek is renowned for its exceptional cushioning properties, providing a comfortable surface for boaters to stand, sit, or walk on. Its non-skid surface ensures superior traction, minimizing the risk of slips and falls even in wet conditions.

Customization Options: One of the standout features of SeaDek is its ability to be customized to match your boat's style. With a plethora of color options, patterns, and textures, you can personalize your boat's flooring to reflect your unique taste.

Shock Absorption: SeaDek's shock-absorbing properties not only enhance comfort but also protect your boat's surfaces from impact. This is particularly beneficial when carrying heavy gear or when encountering rough waters.

Caring for Your SeaDek Flooring: Because of its closed-cell composition, SeaDek is non-absorbent and naturally stain-resistant, so dirt and grime stay on the surface, making cleanup much easier than other flooring materials like carpet.

The best method to clean SeaDek is with SeaDek’s Dek Magic cleaner, which is specifically formulated for PE/EVA foam.

If Dek Magic is not available, SeaDek cleans easily with soap, hot water, and a stiff brush.

To clean dirt, footprints, etc. from your SeaDek, use an all-purpose cleaner, degreaser, or dish soap along with warm water and a medium bristled brush. Thoroughly work the soapy mixture into the SeaDek until dirt, etc. comes up. Rinse with clean water and repeat if necessary. For stubborn stains that persist, mix a bleach solution with one cup of bleach per gallon of water. Using a soft-bristled brush, scrub in a circular motion until the stain comes out. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and repeat if necessary. Just stay away from Acid based cleaners and you'll be good to go!

SeaDek was made to withstand all your crazy adventures you've dreamed up so don't be afraid to get out there and get dirty, we got you covered!
